To kick off ”Zeen in the Suitcase” we thought that a zine exhibition would be fitting. So one of our local artists thought of this exhibition which is on now until 27th August in the gallery. Lot’s of local and australian wide zines are on display Thurs, Fri 11am-3pm & Sat 11am-2pm. So if your in the area do pop in and have a look and grab some free zines/mags, a zine bag with stuff that might encourage you to print a zine or two?
We stock/sell zines by Luke from Sticky Institute (Melbourne) and every 2 weeks he posts us free ones “YOU”. Also, we stock/free local Mags XMagazine, Flare and Trouble and there all a great grab and read. Some other local zines for sale and free are: Two Feathers has a Dustar, Advent, Madame Muff plus more. “BATS” is from QLD and that’s free too.
